What if?
Seagate announced the first standalone version a 3 TB Barracuda XT Hard Disk drive that can run using the older pc system like Windows XP that was known for handling up to 2.19TB.
To make it work with Windows XP, Seagate provide with its new DiscWizard utility software to be able to make the hard disk drives’ capacity available to PC systems. Seagate added a virtual device driver to the utility to allow legacy BIOSes and OSes, such as Windows XP, to access capacity above 2.1TB on a drive. Without the driver, PCs with older OSes and BIOS designs would only be able to create volumes up to 2.1TB.
